West Brom were rubbish tonight but could have gone top. We’re easily good enough to climb this league. First half was Cooperesque and worrying but we got it together. Teams will know they have to watch Piroe and Patto from now on and the likes of Ntcham and Downes are going to run games. With Obafemi to come in we will be one of the best in the league.

West Brom werent rubbish itchy, we made them look like that, first half we were doing what we did against the scum, sounding them out, prying and probing until they tired, then unleash ntcham to partner patterson to cause problems which they did.

The problem is that teams will see what we are doing and will try to combat it, the best thing is we have a great manager who will know what to do, I knew it would click, just didn't think it would click so soon.

If we could get Obafemi fit it would be huge, that injection of pace.

Spot on FB. How RM wasn't 1st choice for the job is a mystery. I almost said that in the fan's forum!

Well regardless of the reason WBA were poor, no way they should be an auto shout. We’re a good side.

Why is that a problem? After 13 games every club knows how every other club plays and will try to counter it, like in a chess game between top opponents where there are no surprises. And we'll be good at that. My big worry is that we will punch above our weight and accidentally squeeze into the play-offs, like Barnsley did last season, because we're not ready for that.

I think that those on this board who thought that we would be in a relegation fight can sleep easy now.

First half was us catching our breath after a disastrous start. From a psychological standpoint it was important to regain control of the game rather than falling to bits like we did at Luton, and we managed that, even if we didn't create a lot in the process. We worked WBA too, making them chase the ball around.

It was probably the most "Rodgers" performance we've seen under RM.

Agreed mate, they do not have a plan B, Ismael has got them playing percentage football, the same as he had barnsley playing, they are strong in defence and midfield and have a great front three, hit it up there and hope for the best.

Spot on yet again Doc, we are confident that our fitness will see us through games, we will only get better bah a few injuries here and there.

I just didn't think that we would be playing so well so quickly glyn, yes teams do have an idea how other teams play but the management team only look at the opposition days before the game.

I have no problems getting into the play off positions, we are more than capable of staying there plus we will probably get more players in January.

Last couple of games has really taken me back. We haven't seen a Swans team playing like this in years, not since Laudrup went out the building. Potter tried but this squad is better than he had in my opinion. When was the last time we saw this level of excitement down the .com two games running?

People go on about us not being ready to mount a playoff challenge, the thing is when will we be ready? Do you think for one minute Piroe will be here past the end of this season if he continues like this and we don't get promoted. He's gonna blow McBurnie's tally right out of the water. And Patterson, is he going to be here next season in the Championship if he continues like this. Fat bloomin chance! Are we sure Martin will be here if he does well but doesn't take us up. While we're in this division, we'll be rebuilding every close season. So judging by that, we'll never be ready. Let's accept that if we at any point get promoted we're not going to be ready. We just have to trust that the Yanks will find their wallet if such an eventuality comes about. It was out last time we were there just that they had an idiot signing the cheques.
