• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Those words and an empty stadium at 80 minutes speaks volumes.
Many thought it was bad with Martin,Duff and Williams but this terrible.....we have become so bad and this pragmatic plan has just seen us become a team nowhere near capable of even creating half decent chances.

Is there any idea who is available for the managers job should Sheezy get the spanish archer? I'm guessing Brodge is out of our league now or are all hopes pinned on this Hellberg scandi chap

Are you saying fans where chanting that today, or that you heard one or more people say it?

I don't care if it takes weeks or longer to find the right manager. Hell, go into the international market, go find a Dutch manger 😂, anything other than this. Know one can defend this no more. Know one. His tactics are clueless. I'm not a stats person, but this is relegation form. Lose a million or 2. So be it. How can he come back from this?

I hope he gets sacked so we don't have anymore Sheehan threads.
Whats your thoughts with Sheehan Smurph? Do you think it's time now or anyway back after international break? It's gone to far now.

Comparing this to Martin, Duff and Williams is nonsense. I'm not saying it's good, but get a bloody grip.

I'd love it if he turns it around and gets the team playing like they did towards the end of last season. The belief he can do it is wearing quite thin at the moment.

A sizeable contingent in the North east corner were, and he was booed when he went over there at the final whistle.

Interesting. Did that ever happen at the end with Williams? I can't recall. If not, it's morbidly fascinating.

How's it any different? If anything it's worse!
Radio Wales sport were even saying it's worse than the month before Williams went.
Ian Walsh was not very complimentary about Sheehan at all when I was driving home.

It is not worse than Martin, Williams of Duff. But I think that is just because it is earlier and we have last season to hold onto. If we were judging based on just this season and had no previous emotional attachment to him, there may be a feeling that it is even worse that the Duff reign.

The problem with Martin and Williams was that they ground us down over time and by the end our goodwill had been eroded for months.
