Well I’m in, bois

There are some errors reported in the logs - not huge ones just requests being rejected causing the pages not to load.

Have raised a ticket with the hosting company
Phil, get yourself down to the Bagle for the last pint and de-stress.
Mention me and you'll get a free pint as my lad is managing the gaff!
Fantastic effort btw MR P 👏

Best Swans forum and now with the software to back it up. Good job Phil

Im rocking the dark mode - I like it so much I've changed all my apps to it. Looks good and saves battery life too

Just FYI Phil, it happened again around 12.50, lasted a few minutes, site would not load.

Thats an odd one as nothing showing on that one today - have sent the details off but this one may just be one of those moments...

Happened again around 14.55, the loading bar just sticks around the 20% mark, this is using I phone safari browser, though when it happens I have changed to duck duck go browser as well, and same thing happens, this is just browsing as a guest, then 14.56 loads instantly.

A few small tweaks today...

There is now a switch next to the Search function at the top that allows you to switch between light and dark mode (if you so choose) - Moon switches light to dark, lightbulb switches dark to light

When viewing forums there is now a "new thread" button - similar to what you may see on WhatsApp on the right hand side of the screen. Similar when viewing a thread this becomes a reply button

The ignore function now allows you to ignore a user / a whole forum / a particular thread. In all instances you will not see anything that appears from anything you have ignored. You can switch back into seeing the things/people you ignore by clicking on your username in the navbar and choosing what you want to un-ignore

Each reply in a thread should now have a "back to top" arrow which does as it says on the tin, takes you back to the top of that particular page.

On the agenda this week is the advertising and the video add that is there, I had a long discussion with the agency on Friday and testing takes place this week with an aim to be up and running as it should be by the end of the week/start of next week (I'm relatively busy this week on the day job)

Thank you everyone for continued support this week on the site, the change of domain name, redesign and server move went far better than I imagined it would.

Just giving a latest update we have finally today started the work on the advertising to get it to where it needs to be.

It will take a few days (maybe up to a week) just to settle down and make the necessary tweaks with the same principle as before being the aim (to have less ads for those logged in compared to those who aren't)

During this time you may see some ads (logged in) that I don't want you to see but until it settles that may happen from time to time. In particular on the agenda is the video ad that sticks to the bottom of the screen.

Please just bear with us for a few more days - will get there - been a little sidelined this week with work matters

Dunno if anything can be done about this but in landscape (screenshot 1) you can see who the last person to post in a thread was. However in portrait (screenshot 2) you can't. Is it possible to add that to portrait? Another forum I use instead of showing the avatar on the left of the person who started a thread, it shows the avatar of the last person to reply instead. A way of showing the latest poster without cluttering the look

Plenty of times I've opened threads that I wouldn't otherwise have bothered had I known who it was that had posted
