• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

There’s two series on iPlayer of a really lovely sitcom from BBC Three called “Dinosaur”. Set in Glasgow it’s about an autistic palaeontologist and her family and friends. I realise that doesn’t sound like much of a sitcom premise but the characters are brilliant, it’s very funny and it’s just a really nice watch. Get it watched.

Celtic or Rangers?

Tehran is really good, I watched up to Season 2, then it stopped, with the ongoing conflict, but I have just noticed that Apple have finally released Season 3, which I will definitely get stuck into shortly.
Saw this, stopped everything and started watching series 3. Thank you - and hooked already - there will be a series 4 as well

In the end we started watching Silo... My wife hates subtitles as much as Neathie does. i will try to bring her around at a later date, so thanks once again.

Tehran gets better with each episode, really enjoying it despite the subs.

I watched all of Silo and enjoyed it. However the 2 other people I know that watched it, had very different opinions 😂

I haven’t watched much of the Winter Olympics but I’ve just seen a British guy annihilate the field for a gold in the sliding on a tea tray.

Brilliant stuff.

I can't watch tv without subtitles, I've gotten so use to it(other than sport) my missus was born hard of hearing and watches tv on her own with no sound on just subs and I've grown so accustom to it it's almost odd watching without them

I find it makes me tired very quickly, struggle to watch more than one episode with starting to nod. Probably get used to it like you have though.

Yeah, my hearing is so poor even with two hearing aids that I've always got subtitles on.
Except for sport when they obscure half the screen and are unnecessary anyway.

I think it was your suggestion a few years ago to watch Tehran - love it and so pleased it is on again. I'm glad they have subtitles because even when they are speaking in English I might mishear them
