• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

really enjoyed This City is Ours.
Have been watching The Following, as running out of things to see. A bit gory but still ok.
Watching the feud on Channel 5 - decent to be fair

As a non video game player, season two of The Last of Us just ripped my heart out. Wife is still in denial.
I thought the first season was a brilliant adaptation and smartly added in things not in the video game (more buildup to the outbreak, Frank and Bill, etc).

Knowing the story of Part 2, I've told my wife I won't be watching with her. I have no desire to sit through that amount of misery again. I am looking forward to her reaction to the second episode...

Bosch. The final series. It’s a shame that Netflix has The Lincoln Lawyer cos it means they can’t be in the same universe as Bosch is on Prime. They are bringing in Renee Ballard from the Michael Connolly series of books once Bosch is finished so that should be good too.

Have sat through first 4 episodes of Mobland. Tom Hardy is incredible.

Had the box set of The Following as a Xmas present a few years ago , I do like a thriller and this was a gift .

Started ok but then degeneated into being unwatchable , will never ever view it again .
Think I took the dvd package to the local recycling centre soon after , horrible scenes on screen .

Based on Edgar Alan Poe novels and thoughts it seems how this series was produced .

Watching Charlie Brooker‘s Black Mirror series. A bit like an up to date Twilight Zone with where technology might take us.

Watched Chelsea Detective. OK - easy watching. Episode 3 there’s a scene outside Stamford Bridge in roughly the spot where HJ couldn’t get through security with his Audi. They didn’t know who he was from Adam. Had a photo on my old phone of him arguing.

The Feud on Channel 5 is spectacularly, laughably awful. Worth watching for the lolz.

Just lasted about 20 minutes of The Last Of Us, up until some woman was bleeding profusely with a load of fucking chow mein growing out of her gob 🤯🤯

Yeah, he's really good. Less convinced by some of the other star actors in it though, they seem to be hamming it up a a bit too much, although Brosnan looked convincingly menacing when he paid Harry's wife a visit.

It's hard to see how they'll get to the end of the season with anyone left alive to be honest:LOL:

Yep, prefer it tho to Gangs of London. That's just fckn mental and totally unrealistic.
