• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Think I've mentioned Mayor of Kingstown before.

Season 4 is due out anytime soon;

A favourite of yours with all that racism in it? 👀
I watched an episode the other day, the amount of racist remarks were unbelievable, the intro said "May have discriminating language and remarks prevalent of the time"

May, obviously written by a Murdoch shill from Sky openly being an idiot

I won’t comment on that mate I don’t want a row off the mod person.

Just started Landman, Billy Bob has to be considered one of the greats.

Also Lioness, typical CIA Homeland-lite type guff, superb.

Recently watched a crime thriller set in Valencia, "A widow's game, based on a true story, good watch

At the moment I’m watching The Hack, about the News Of The World phone hacking investigation. Unbelievable how things took so long to get going from all the lies being told until a few celebrities were brave enough to get involved.
Fantastic viewing.

Has anyone mentioned Slow Horses? binged watched all week, outstanding stuff

If there's nowt on the telly and you want a laugh, I can recommend the numerous videos posted on You Tube by an American guy called Kitboga. His speciality is telephone scammer baiting, usually guys ringing up from India and preying on old people.
He usually just wastes hours of their time by taking on the persona of an old and slightly scatty person, often a woman (he wears a curly grey wig in this role) but he can also get access to their computer files and f*ck them up, or get their US bank account numbers which he reports to the authorities. Some of these videos are hilarious as the scammers get more and more frustrated and angry because he can't quite follow the instructions designed to rob him of large amounts of money.
Some of the videos go on for over an hour, but I recommend you start off with some of the 20-30 minute ones.

I can highly recommend Mayor of Kingstown. The fourth season has just started on Paramount +

IT: Welcome to Derry got off to a suitably mental start on Sky Atlantic last night.

I’m a bit disappointed with the current series. Not sure why… I think maybe they are overegging the anger; they are on top of their game when humour balances the unsympathetic characters…it’s too ‘hard’ this time for optimum SH for me. That Devon character is also an awful portrayal or a dreadful actor. The way they’ve rewritten the story from the excellent book means it doesn’t really stack up either, and they’ve ‘lost’ Louisa for some reason.

Still something I look forward to watching, but Series 1 and 2 the peak output for my money. Fresh, funny and on the money with the stories.

The best season yet.
Blue Lights Rocks!!

I finished it the other night, absolutely fantastic. Great acting, story, drama it had everything. I felt so many emotions watching this! Not very often, I feel a connection with the characters in a series, but I must say, on episode 5 of season 3, I was panicking .

Absolutely brilliant.
