• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It’s just that people who say “oh I’m far too busy for trivialities like watching the television” make me chuckle. Mostly liars. Right up there with people who moan about the TV licence fee because they “never even watch the BBC”.

I don’t watch much television.

It’s not for the lack of wanting. We all have things going on in our private lives which eat into spare time, just some more than others.
I honestly read that as 'It's not for the lack of wanking'. I thought, well that's honest for you.

Just catching up on the BBC latest Russel T. Davies production just now and nope a real turn off after the initial 25 minutes I endured , the theme was so obvious from the start .

The War between the Land and the Sea , no spoilers please , I might revisit later episodes .

Prime time viewing figures available on a dreary Sunday night yet this nonsense is the best the BBC can offer .

Maybe BBC Wales should stick with the Dr. Who reinvention , they got that right mind .

It's probably the best thing on Sunday atm, imho.
I've quite enjoyed it tbh, some ropey bits but overall not bad. They must have spent a few quid on it to be fair.

The wife has had a glass or two of Prosecco and is watching *Ghosts*. I'm listening to her lol. In my opinion, and I've never watched it before, it's a pile of juvenile poo. Perhaps I'm getting old.

Got The Royal Variety Performance on here, there's a sketch from Les Misérables bit later, worth watching to just watch that.
