• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Hmm, that’s a bit arse backwards, you do realise it’s a sequel to the series? Each to their own, and all that, but it’s a bit bonkers to watch the last first.

😳
It’s a good film which can be enjoyed without prior knowledge of the series.

Any update on this FOAJP? We don't watch a lot of TV these days, but considering giving this a watch. People online who have tastes usually in line with mine seem to rate it.
I ended up bingeing it all over a few nights; I really liked it. It's hard to say I'd strongly recommend it to anyone though as it is a bit weird (due to the storyline), so I can absolutely see some people turning off after a couple of episodes. I think if you liked Severance, you'd like this. The story is different, but it has a similar oddball air about it.

Add on that if you like Breaking Bad or Better Caul Saul, it's the same showrunner and many of the same production crew, main actress is from BCS etc. It's also set in Albuquerque, so really, I don't think you can go wrong if you've liked Vince Gilligan's work to date, it's just applied to an oddball sci-fi theme this time.

We’ve been watching The Pitt on HBO MAX, really enjoying it. Not for anyone who doesn’t like hospital ER stuff probably as that’s where it’s set. Acting is very good.

Started watching Pluribus on Apple TV - new show from Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad). Wasn't sure whether to stick with it after the first episode, but I did and I'm glad I did. Still not quite sure what to make of it, but it's a good watch.
Just watched Pluribus and feel the same way. It’s quite ‘odd’
I found The Last Man on Earth better though. Same sort of thing

I’m now officially obsessed with Peaky Blinders. Great stuff.
Shame you’ve watched the ending before the beginning. 🤣

Only joking, I did actually look this up at the time, when I said it was a bit arse backwards watching the film before the series, and for some bizarre reason the shows creator Steven Knight seems to think it’s ok to watch it that way. 😳

Just had HBO max subscription so I can try Sopranos again. I’ve never got further than the first episode in about five attempts.

🫪🫪 The Sopranos is an all time classic, you've got to stick with it, it's well worth it.

The Pitt and DTF St Louis are a decent watch on HBO

There looks loads of decent stuff on there. Determined to watch this through this time.

His to lose by the look of it

Boxing on as well.

Looking forward to watching Conor Benn
Absolutely, mind you hit one in the creek and you can easily loose a few shots, but he seems to be well in control.
I'll look in on the fury match up, that russian looks a beast, never seen him box mind.👍
