• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Love Race Across The World.

Hard to pick a winner this year, the couples are all deserved winners.
Yeah they are mate. Its a tough race and it takes so much guts. Just watched last nights episode. Really seems like another world.

It's mad, lovely to see the bond created with the families who take them in for the night.

Did you see the bit where the scouse lads might have been waiting outside in -15 if they missed their bus 🥶

I did. Such a bleak and vast country too.
The bit that got me was the throat singing. The lad was so moved.
Isn't it incredible how humans can connect despite huge language and culture barriers?
Heartwarming stuff.

Legends on Netflix, is good so far, one episode in.

Story is about a group of under cover coppers in the UK fighting a war on drugs, think it’s set in either the 80’s or 90’s.

Edit: The sound track is banging
Not one to be pedantic but it's customs officers not police and it's set in 1990 when T*****r needed a leg up, watched the first 3 episodes and brilliant so far

Watched that Jamie Vardy documentary on Netflix earlier, it was quite interesting. I should watch more of those type of programmes, I do enjoy them.

Watched that the weekend, incredible journey he went on fair play, doubt it’ll ever be repeated.

Just watched the 1st series of Mr. Mercedes. There is some fkd up stuff in there

Couple of episodes into Nemesis on Netflix. About a copper trying to catch a gang of robbers in America. It’s okay, pretty much your standard fair for cops and robbers genre.

Amandaland on BBC catch up is funny in an odd way whilst viewing , will everybody like it probably not but I did .

Time to get my coat before the incoming .

Peelers: The PSNI for Real.
Following the police in real situations in Northern Ireland.
I do like these kind of shows. There’s a few of them around

Dont forget Usyk fight later on tonight, could be interesting. 10.50 BST. 👍

Believe Me on ITVx about the victims of John Warboys (“the black cab rapist”) . Not sure if it’s been mentioned. Superbly done and a brilliant illustration of police failings (and worse in some cases). No wonder hardly any rape/sexual assault reports proceed to charge and even fewer to conviction.

Binged this last night. Hard to watch at times but brilliant nonetheless.
