Is a key similarity to Martin - reverting to ideology after a couple of wins

We saw it with martin

Now Luke is doing it.

He stopped the bollocks with grimes as a quarter back which resulted in some best good performances, he's now reverted to it as if he's earned the time again and it needs to stop

Hull played with energy and we didn't fancy it

This midfield issue with Grimes playing CB and Fulton playing deep and backwards is killing us.

Chuck in Key losing possession and MPH going missing, the lack of quality of EOM and the questionable defending of Tymon

Overall LW is to blame...large gaps in his management and coaching

Exactly like the Wycombe game and second half against Cardiff and Sunderland.
Some teams let us dominate games and control the tempo but some wont give us a second on the ball and are willing to commit men going forward.
You can see the spirit and game plan drain out of us.

Eh ?
But today you said 'I like Williams'. ??

Make your mind up.

And when you do, please tell us Why you like him - the rationale for 'Willy In' is impotent so far.....

While the players might deserve a bollocking, this regular public airing by Williams is not helping. Especially as he doesn't seem to take any blame either. This will only end in tears.

I reckon he's already lost the dressing room. They want him out. While as just mediocre footballers anyway, their performances will rarely reach any decent heights...but compound that with not even trying for the Manager, and we have a recipe for a very difficult season now.

I think the problem you've got, if you don't mind me saying, is that your stated starting point was that you've given all of us your "cogent rationale", and so you want us to give ours in return.

Unfortunately, nothing you've said is even in the same postcode as "cogent", so I've a feeling what it is is that we're all still waiting for you to start the ball rolling.

Take your time. 👍🏻

You seem to have a selective reading disorder, fella.

Check out post#468 on the Williams Out thread - the same post I keep reminding you to respond to, as a starter for ten.....

Meantime feel free to proffer your cogent rationale for the case for the defense of Williams and his irrational, dodgy as heck, self-centered ways (you know, the same dodgy as heck self centered ways that got him sacked last time). I know you'll fail spectacularly with this simple task, as per.

The floor is yours (and no more deflecting to squad strength, focus purely on Williams and Williams' strengths, if you see any).

Here;s what chat gpt says Andy. Fill your boots 🤣

Luke Williams is currently the manager of Swansea City. He was appointed as the head coach of the club in the summer of 2023. Williams succeeded Russell Martin, who left the club for Southampton.

Before taking over at Swansea, Luke Williams had a solid coaching background, including experience at Notts County, where he made a significant impact. Under his guidance, Notts County finished 2nd in the 2022-2023 season of the National League, gaining promotion to League Two. His managerial career has seen him praised for a possession-based, attacking style of football, which he has brought to Swansea.

He also had a coaching stint at Oxford United before taking on the Notts County job, and is known for his tactical acumen and emphasis on player development.

At Swansea, he's tasked with stabilizing the club in the Championship and pushing for promotion back to the Premier League. The team has shown promise under his guidance, and fans are optimistic about his long-term vision for the club.

Let me know if you'd like more details about his tenure or coaching style!

Ah right it has to be absolute either way, weird bloke

AI still needs a bit of work then...

Christ, I can't think of much he's shown less aptitude for over the last year than player development.

If anything our players have got worse under his stewardship.

Ronald being the obvious one. Full of running and impact when he first got here. Struggling for months now. I really don't think the way we play suits any attacking players. We're just so slow getting the ball into the areas that matter.

The complete neglect of the u21's whilst people insist that he has no options is getting rather tiresome too. There's no way that Nzingo shouldn't at least have made some appearances off the bench by now if our wide options are as poor as some claim.

Govea also looked promising in the few substitute appearances he made.

I'd be quite happy to see the back of him. In the 12 months more or less he has been here we've seen absolutely no progress at all.

Frustrating that he seems to insist on the development of MPH over any of own youngsters who are probably equally as good if not better.

I'm going to the game on Boxing Day and after that I'm not sure when I can be arsed to go again.
