Heart says play offs, head says mid-table.

As for promotion- bookmakers offering odds of 40/1 on Swans to get promoted. Ipswich 9/4 favourites, Wrexham 20/1, least favourite are Oxford 150/1.
Damn, 40/1. Gonna have some of that this year. Maybe not. EW would be top 3 which would be approx 13/1 for a place. 2nd or 3rd.

Think I'll take a few bob on 12/1 to be promoted. That gives me to 6th place

Maybe we get a tough opening 1st games and the odds get bigger. So Thursday gimme Leics, Soton & Ipswich 1st 3 games all away from home and we have to play with 10 men

Great if all that transpires Martyn - but we have had a recent history of early activity in windows followed by inertia towards the end, so I'm not counting my chickens.

As always - we'll only really know where we are come the first week in September.
True. At 65 my memory fails. But what track record of getting business done early other than maybe Watson shopping in the pound store. I have shopping at the last minute ingrained since we got relegated

Dont know but I am getting the impression the club wants all incomings done asap. Maybe an odd later one eg. LOB if it drags on so it wouldn't surprise me to see 3 of the 4 open slots filled in the 1st week of July

At the moment I think we'll just fall short of the playoffs, however if a few more quality additions to the squad come in, anythings possible

Let's not get carried away before the final squad for the season is known and before a ball's been kicked in anger. No point in getting ahead of ourselves without allowing any room to be pleasantly surprised.

I'm nailing my colours to the mast and saying automatics. Just don't come looking for me if we get relegated.

Before I left the UK I was a massive fan of the Nag racing - and my biggest factor in picking winners was recent form.
The way we finished the season was very impressive - and I think we are (on balance) maybe stronger as a squad. The big assumption is that our new signings are all as impactful as we hope.
This is the most excited i have been for a season in a decade - Play offs baby!!
