• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

There’s definitely a buzz. New owners seem to be sorting out the mistakes of the past. Time will tell and we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. Ah what the hell .. see you in Wembley next May YJBs ! 🤣

So what is your realistic prediction on a league position finish?

For me we are going into a new season with quite a few team changes again and hopefully a fruitful season under Sheehan.
I’d say top 6. I’ve got a feeling Ipswich won’t be as strong as they were last time out, Leicester are having their collars felt by the PL and Southampton probably haven’t got over Martin’s devastating intervention. I think the league will definitely be more open than they were last last few years and with Birmingham and Wrexham’s cash a more competitive top half of the table

I’m feeling pretty upbeat too, and I’m thinking a solid push into the top half isn’t out of the question if the momentum sticks. I’ve even had a bit of fun tossing small punts around using a Bookmaker Bonus Code, just to add a bit of spice to the season. Whatever happens, the vibe around the squad makes it easier to stay hopeful.

Win the next 2 games with home games against Bristol City & Preston we could be pushing the the top 8 .
Momentum can make a huge difference .

Not saying we will make the play offs, but it has been a bit of a theme that we end up being much better in the second half of the season over the last few years. Couple that with the fact we are in a better position now at this point of the season that at any point since we made the playoffs, we've reason to be a lot more optimistic than we were under the dark days of Sheehan.

I think we’ll be hanging on to the coat tails of the playoffs until the last couple of games, much like last season. Which given the horrendous start to the season is an absolute miracle, I thought we were going to do a Cardiff.
Next season we’ll finish 2nd.

Ok, I’m going to say it. We will sneak into the last spot of the playoffs, maybe pipping Wrexham on the last game of the season.
Snoop dog, Modric and Martha will be in attendance and will all be in Mozart’s late late in the night partying and sharing a bong in the back room. 🥳👀🤣
