• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yeah but you’re a weirdo.

You are the Luvvie in hippie shirts with hair like a girl who goes to a UFO club.

And that’s fine.
Let’s be honest anyone who supports an international team before a club team is a f*cking oddball as a couple of people in this thread have proved.

You might think it's fine but I think an old man with long hair like a girl, wearing hippie shirts and going to a UFO club is oddball weird.

I'm not from Swansea, but Swansea is my nearest pro football club, if Aberdare Athletic was still in the league I would support the snakes.

Aberdare?
Says it all.

Honestly, people from the Valleys are f*cking right oddballs.. causing fights on wind street regularly.. Cardiff's main supporter base

So you have no affinity to Swansea but you support us as it's your nearest professional football club?
Nothing wrong with supporting a team that is outside your particular city/town, but to support a side purely on them being a "professional outfit" smacks of entitlement...

Well said Skip.

Honestly, they'll cause a fight in a phone box, they produce so many types like Gerwyn Price.. roid headed meatball heads out for a bit of friction.. then you have the left leaning nutters who think they're Irish or the devout Christian nutters like Nathan Jones.. or the drug dealers.. you do have the half decent types, but they're surrounded by "scousers" basically

I have no affinity to Swansea the place at all, didn't go to school there, didn't work there, etc etc, it's just a place where mushers live, but ive watched the team for decades, it's my local football league club and just about the closest team other than parks football and certainly easier to get to than other places.

They only fight with other commandos from other villages mun, mushers won't get involved with the VC's .

Where have I said I am better than others?

I will stick by position in stating that people who have big teams as second teams are sad as they want to make themselves feel and look better by associating themselves with these big teams.

I have always had that belief and that will never change.

That is a very strange observation, what is your reasoning that people support two clubs to make themselves feel and look better? What's your working out for it, if you like.

It's never too late to change for the better, tolerance is a wonderful trait.

1978 I started supporting the swans, most boys in my class/schools at the time supported liverpool and utd, I asked them why don't you support the swans? Their answer? they are sh!t.
