• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Who do we want in the team against Watford?

Widell
Pros - great at press, can turn and run towards goal, has good technique for shooting and is unlucky not to have scored yet.
Cons - not shown a great passing range yet, is ok short passing but not seen much defence splitting passes etc.

Cullen - good press, slightly ineffective I feel as never gets a tackle in. Can pop up with the odd header or shot from outside of box. Can split a defense open with passes.

Cons - doesn’t tackle enough or gets brushed off ball. Sometimes I fell he doesn’t show for the ball enough.

Or someone else? Yalcoue can link up well and might be the answer?

I’m going for Widell at the moment.

Depending on the fitness of Galbraith
I would go with in my opinion our best side ,

Vigouroux
Galbraith , Cabango , Burgess , Tymon ,

Stamenic , Franco ,

Ronald , Widell , Eom ,

Vp ,

Yalcoure , Nunes. Cullen , Wales , Ward to come on after 70 mins depending on how the games going .

Widell every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Agree 100%. Covers so much ground, it's like having a 12th player on the pitch sometimes. Others around him also have to up their workrate too and it's noticeable how the whole team's energy level seems to sag whenever he's subbed. It's also significant how Franco's workrate increases when Widell is in there with him and he has been twice the player with a few MoM performances.

Widell is like the oil in an engine, without him we don’t quite work the same. He makes everyone better and puts opposition under so much pressure with his pressing causing turnovers and setting us on the path to attacks.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence we win almost every game that he starts, still undefeated in that respect I think.
