• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Hear me out.... Its 1 game and 1 win doesn't make Alan Sheehan the next Pep of the past 😂.

But.... He played a blinder against Blackburn Rovers. He kept things simple. And Showed Williams you don't have to over complicate football. Ronald doesn't need to be your new defensive player, and passing for passing means 0.

Sheehan:

1. Back 4 - Thank God
2. Got Players Around VP to Support
3. Got Team to Be More Attacking at the right times
4. Knew the Midfield had to control the game
5. Substitutes used at right time and not on 60th minute as Williams did and predictable
6. Key and Tymon pressed when needed but wasn't doing pressing all the time to the point it left us wide open.

And finally.... The most important part.

Didn't throw the players under the bus, talked with honesty and is open to hearing others opinions ie Joe Allen in technical area.

Where we go from here. I do not know. It might be short lived. I still think we need to bring in someone who is a quality manager and build upon this. But it's a start.

Poty, already.
Fair play, showing up so many of the usual negative anti-Club suspects in so many ways.

Today is all about purging us from the rot that was Martin-Williams.

And on to a proper manager who’s properly aligned to us and our heritage, our pedigree and our vision……to the next, next level, and beyond……

I'm sure a few negative ones will pop up soon. But only seem to come out when we are down and out. We might not be any where near the peak of the mountain and miles away from it to build trust. 1 game won't do this. And still we have to get safety. No egg on face if we lose next as our season is not about 1 game. But we showed a side we have not shown in a while and here is hoping they don't let us down. It's about celebrating today and growing on this. Getting behind the club and the new director of football and back room staff. It's easy for all of us all and as the saying goes, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stone. But the club have given us endless stones so can't blame the anger. But yanks out posts and all that needs to stop. You don't have to forgive or forget, but we need to build upon this. Now if Gary Monk comes in as our next Manager that might change a few things 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 and stones will be thrown again.

One of the many final straws with Williams was him changing the formation after Grimes left. It was so cowardly. The message that sent to everyone, including the other players, was awful. Oh no! we can't cycle the ball endlessly around the back as much as we used to! help! 5 at the back!! more defenders!!

f*cking idiot.

The maddest part of that being we had clearly upgraded on Grimes with LoB.
