They've signed a back up full back who is injured for a month or so and then out of contract in 10 months time for a few million quid.

As Stuart James says… why would the fee be higher? He’s got 10 months left on his contract… he’s not a wing back who’s going to tear up the Premier League. Just a nice steady eddy solid right back for a prem team. Probably a back up for Burnley.

The market is screwed at the moment because of Covid. The real issue with winter here is not selling earlier if he knew we couldn’t get players to sign new contracts.
