I am surprised they dont stop all football for 2 weeks. Cash implications and congested fixture list possible reasons they dont.

I read many fans in the Prem trying to sell their tickets as they dont wish to attend some of the matches due to increased risk.
 
Considering this is just the start of the 4th wave, and taking into account how quickly the Omicron variant is spreading, I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of fire break in fixtures over the Christmas/New year period will at least be seriously looked at.
 
Need to knock it on the head for a couple of weeks until it settles down again.

Can't see me going to the stadium until it does anyway.
