• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Great news. ♥️

It’s defo out there and some people are becoming quite unwell - some are dying from/with it which is why the new vaccine programme has been brought forward by a month for the vulnerable.

I’ve got my appointment for my next jab for this Saturday.

My Dad gets his today in the Bont thank fk!

Good for him. My parents are both in their 80’s and have serious underlying health conditions, Covid visited them last March /April. My mum was quiet unwell and spent 3 days in hospital and my old man was poorly, but didn’t get hospitalised. Fortunately, both were fully vaccinated and came through the other side, had they not been vaccinated they wouldn’t be here now.

Everyone’s got their own views on the vaccines, but for some it’s defo a life saver.

He got a double whammy today...Flu in one arm and Covid in the other, so he'll have both arms aching for a few days.......better than dying hideously unable to breathe though! Good old NHS...Love 'em!
