Why? It’s just trying to second guess someone else’s word when there are various entirely valid options. I took what looks exactly the same path as you and for the sixth word it could still have been two or three other words if the setter had chosen them. Very little skill involved at all other than the ability to see a five letter word. If you get it in one, Is that clever? No, total luck. In fact the more guesses needed the more thought it takes.

So there. I’m available anytime to bring fun and joy to any social gathering.
