• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Imagine if we'd played with some protection for the back line....

For me I'd have not played such a high line with essentially no midfield. That said, I know feck all, we could have gotten points out of this after 3-0 down. What a game.

That looked like it was going to be a total humiliation. Instead, it’s a confidence builder and a one goal defeat. Beating them at home might well bring goals into play. Someone needs to boot Doku (and Tielemans and that **** Bryne) off the park in the warm up though.

Belgium always qualify - they're like England in that regard. Haven't lost a qualifier since we beat them in 2015 (i think).
But Macedonia are dangerous - as they showed against us and Belgium.
We've all but got the added insurance of a play off spot thanks to the Nations League, but given Bellamy's mentality, we'll be trying to win the group outright

Haven't lost one at home since Germany beat them in 2010.

Got to be proud of that second half performance. Shows we can go toe to toe with the best. Under Page we'd have folded 7-0. Imagine if Neco and Dan James had been fit! Even though we lost, that second half gives us a platform for the rest of the games. Unfortunately we've only got 1 group game in the next window but that is must win. (After a friendly at the Swansea.com).

A wales fan fell from the upper tier last might but thankfully it looks like he's OK.

Connor can’t defend for toffee, loves going forward ( and a good moan ) but constantly out of position, lump on Burnley to go down next season.

Connor is the master of going down injured like he's been shot from 2 yards.
