• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Would you welcome Huw Jenkins back..

In what capacity? He's still a shareholder.

But as anything else, no, how can he ever be trusted again?

And let's face it, he'd lost his touch.

I can't see how this lot won't suffer a loss, they're never gonna get their money back doing what they are currently doing, not a chance in hell.

The American owners had their big chance to get us back to the promised land when Cooper was manager. They could have then looked to have sold the club and recouped their money. Particularly the second season when at one stage after beating Norwich at home it looked as if we may have been in with a shout of automatic promotion. But they failed to push the boat out a little in that January transfer window , ended up getting us some mls players and Hourihane and failed miserably at the final hurdle.

Everyone was happy when we got Hourihane ('just what we needed'). After beating the Delias, with an incredible Hourihane strike and Ayew and Lowe up front, no one was moaning. Cooper shat the bed from then on, not using his squad properly - Roberts in midfield, Hourihane deep, overcautious shithousery. The play off final was a joke.

Probably the only thing I totally agree with you on.

Nope, but i still think we'll see him / Morgan back one day though.

Cooper was demanding 3M for Cauley Woodrow, insane to think we would have done that.

Anything is better than this shit show! Martin is dying on his arse its embarrassing! There's no coming back for him so what is the point!

I probably would have him back. I’d have said no a year or so ago but he would definitely be an improvement on what we have now.

Going back to Jenkins & co. would be like the current owners only they have less money to put into supporting the business. If the complaint is that there's not been enough investment then it fixes nothing, and probably makes the situation worse.

When Jenkins started to rely on his contact book in the PL we fell flat our our faces, to the club and the Americans massive cost. He had a decent eye for a manager back in the day, but our success mostly depended on how well they could sweet talk him to get what they wanted.

Great post Jasp. 🙌🏻

He's had his time, then shit all over us. He took the money to pay his ex and now some want him back?
You must be mental.
Fck him and all who stand with him.
