Sobering thought. Wrecsam's turnover from last season in League two was 26 million - 5 million more than ours. No doubt it will have gone up again this season. In the Championship - with the 8 million TV revenue I'd be surprised if their turnover won't top 40 million. They will blow all teams outside those in receipt of parachute payments out of the water when it comes to recruitment. They will want to recruit seasoned Championship players. Given they play with wingbacks I can see them trying to get their hands on Tymon, given he has the highest expected assists (9.1) of any Championship player and only has a year left on his contract. I can see him going for anything over 3 million. With Darling almost certainly going to Birmingham and O'Brien not returning we're going to have our work cut out in the transfer market.

We'd be creaming ourselves if we were bringing in as much money as them and not one of our fans would give a monkeys if it was because of celebrity owners and a tv series. If you don't believe that's true, look at the reactions to Modric getting involved with us.

There's a lot of green-eyed monsters around. I hope we take 6 points from them next season and wish them all the best for the rest of their games.

It's goodnight Rob and Ryan, and Irene. But honestly season 5 will be good. I think so anyway, Are they going to spend big?

The thing that may hold Wrecsam back is that they need to improve on so many fronts simultaneously: the stadium, their training facilities, the academy and obviously the squad all need upgrading. Even so, I see them assembling a squad strong enough to ensure a mid table finish at least. They will probably need to upgrade their manager at some stage.

That’s part of the self-fulfilling irony of the whole enterprise. Plucky, broke non-league wrexham are now financial powerhouse global brand with more resources than almost everyone they compete against.

Yes, they made 5 million more than us as a League Two clubs, just imagine how much more they will make in the Championship with the 8 million TV money and extra sponsorship. I can see them making easily 40 million, perhaps 50 million isn't inconceivable. However, the jump from League One to Championship is a bigger one than league two to one. I expect a few headline grabbing signings. Vardy has got to be one of them. We could trump that by signing Modric...
