A consultant vascular surgeon who has previously appeared on ITV News has been asking for that a long time before this attack had ever happened. He was speaking on behalf of his patients, himself and his clinical teams.

He said that he could not fathom out why someone would ever want to own a dog with musculature/jaws capable of killing and ripping away large chunks of human flesh. He often had to work in unison alongside a consultant plastic surgeon, that was the appalling extent of injuries to patients where torn-away flesh had at times have to be replaced by prosthetic replacements.

The crazy thing is you get dangerous breed apologists/anti governments/anti-police critics appearing in TV studio news coverage and press criticising dangerous dog legislation. The usual stuff, not practical, it's unworkable, it's the owners fault and not the dogs, its a knee-jerk reaction, blah, blah, blah etc, etc, etc.

Could you imagine a child being alone and suffering an attack like the one in this video. *Look away if you have a tendency to be upset*

I remember years ago when I attempted to get it's jaws off my cousin's dog, hit it with a crowbar and it f*cking bent, tipped a kettle of boiling water over it and it still kept attacking.. thankfully the daft dog got put down after killing about 5 dogs
