Look, I love this club and I call it how I see it.

I said after two matches that Duff is a Duffer. And I said that our owners are running us into the ground. Some of you wouldn’t have any of it.

But I was right. I said this season would end up being a relegation fight. And this is happening now.

You have to stop hyping up our sh*t players and our sh*t manager every single summer. I would sell everyone and rip it all up. We’re sleep walking into League One.

I get what you saying, but why would they want to drive the club into the ground? they'd have done their money If that happened, I just think that they are utterly clueless and are winging it cause they have no other idea, Coleman is the new sheriff in town, but what experience has he had in the game?

Yeah, well done Rog.
There you go. Pants down and celebrate.

If you criticise every manager and player, then of course you're going to get some right. Not sure that's anything to be proud of, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

What took you so long to realise the owners are running us into the ground? They've been making rubbish decisions since almost day 1.

No, I only criticise managers and players who clearly aren't good enough for us. And the last few managers have been terrible appointments.

Although saying that, are we even a club with play-off aspirations these days? I think we're about par now. Our owners don't invest in the team and this is how we reap the rewards - another relegation dog fight.

It will get worse in League One next season too unless the owners f**k off.

He didn't say they wanted to drive the club into the ground, he said they "are running us into the ground". But that's not because they want to, it's more likely due to a cognitive bias known as the Dunning-Kruger effect. This is when people genuinely believe that they are smarter and more capable than they really are and are incapable of recognising their own incompetence. They know they have been successful in business therefore they are 100% certain they'll be successful at running a football club because it's a business but they're not because they're not even remotely aware of their lack of abilities in this environment. If you want an even better example, look at Dai Yongge, owner of Reading FC and what an unmitigated disaster he has been.

Driving/running, same difference, all be it Driving may be faster than running so we could get there quicker

Running a Football club is not something you can learn on the job, unless you start at a lower level, which is what the sell outs did in fairness they learnt and grew with the business from when the club was in the gutter, the Yanks came in when the club was in the premier league, they tried chucking some good money at it but were out of their depth and that's why Jenkins turned is phone off to Leeds over the Dan James transfer farce, he saved and eventually made them money with his decision over that time.

Levien blew several fuses over that business I bet and he then took over the decision making and fuked it right up because of his lack of experience in Football business, DC Utd are a different concept to British football obviously.

I think you rather missed my point there NJ

I wasn't differentiating between driving us into the ground and running us into the ground as that would have been completely pointless. My point was that you asked why they'd WANT to do it whereas Roger didn't even suggest they actually wanted to do it just that they WERE doing it whether they wanted to or not. I just offered a possibility of how it would happen if they didn't actively want it to, based on them being far less competent at running a football club than they clearly think they are. Ok with that now? :D

Way too early for any crowing. I hope Duff is man but have serious doubts.
