• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

You're all surprised?

Reading through the match thread and people seem to be shocked by this performance, we've been like this all season.. the only time we looked decent was against a Cardiff team in their worst run ever and Peterborough, who let's face it are keeping us in this division, we're in a relegation battle, only the blind would argue otherwise, our next games are a real eye opener an all.. the only points I can see are Barnsley, Peterborough, Reading and Cardiff..

And how he keeps Smith in AM, Latibeaudiere at WB, Manning at CB and that Hamer in the net is beyond any rational thought process, he's arrogant and delusional is Russ

Don’t included me in the ‘all’ please.

He keeps Hamer in the net and yet he signed Fisher. I don’t get it.

To be fair to Hamer he started performing better apart from the shit save against Huddersfield that led to their goal he picked up and made some big saves, but today he can’t justify it now, Fisher needs to be bedded in at some point let’s get him in for Tuesday

He played well at ‘uddersfeld which is probably why he was still in between the sticks today. However now is the time to move aside and let us see what we have invested in.

"We are too good to go down'

Discuss..... especially the "good" bit

Luckily two teams have been hit with points deductions, and one or two teams that are worserer than us presently.

Go on a run of 5 games or so and things could look far more pleasing.

This season is panning out as most expected it to, not good enough to go up and not bad enough to go down, its likely to be the same next season , fans enjoy having a good moan when we lose

Is anyone, let alone “all”, actually surprised?

I’m surprised we could be THAT bad, yes. That first half even beat Luton for absolute shitness. Not acceptable in any way from professionals being paid what they are paid, manager included. This isn’t a team of total dogs like when we were scuffing around the lower divisions and this was all they could manage.

Plus going over the top with praise when we win....."Martin is going to manage a top side one day",..... "Player x is premier League class"

I cringe.

Yes, I was surprised we were that bad.
The first half yesterday was abysmal but anyone who reckons we've been like that all season is taking nonsense.
One change from the QPR game but it was like night & day - no comparison.
The same back 3/5 were all over the place.

Not sure if the better second half performance made me feel better or worse, because for me it highlighted what a poor side Hull are, and that we're level on points with them on top of being two goals down.

But grow up will you, we're not going to be anywhere near the drop zone any more than we're going to trouble the playoff positions. It hasn't been a great season and on the whole, we've been poor more often than we've good, but saying Cardiff is our only good performance shows me you either have ridiculously high expectations or are a drama queen.

Every time whe have a defeat, it's a hissy fit on here. Have a bit of balance. No one's expecting you to be extatic about what you saw yesterday or during the season in general, but this dramatics is really detracting from your argument and making you look a bit silly like a whining kid.
