• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Good Game Wales did well to comeback in that first half, SA were always gonna be stronger in that 2nd half, but that decision to not give a forward pass on their try right after H/T was bordering on favouritism towards SA, especially when those two clear red cards weren't given, that high boot when Fassi clearly stuck his foot out was a red all day and Mbonambi clearly driving in with his head both red cards foe me.

SA proved to strong in the end, but there were positives with some talented young players coming though, Mason Grady looks a decent 12 for the future, Winnett amongst other's.

It was definitely a forward pass for their try, couldn’t understand why it was ignored by the tv officials. Some dubious decisions as well especially with the boot to the head.
I’m not as enthusiastic about our play though, a lot of work needed with the team.

Its virtually a new team full of youngsters, work in progress, but if you read the report on BBC Sport Rugby some clown is talking about replacing Gats if we keep losing, short time thinking at its finest, we ain't got the players we had, the so called Golden squad is long gone.

Patience is needed, silk purse and a pigs ear spring to mind, need to do the hard yards first.

A good few years of mediocrity ahead I'm afraid. The cupboard is bare, and the WRU are brassic.
It is what it is, we've been spoilt, but now its back to the drawing board and building a capable squad, people need to realise this and expect it.
More heartache to come without doubt, think we've only ever beat the Safies 7/8 times in maybe the 50 games we've played them. Today was no disgrace, some of the officiating on the other hand!

On a side note, congratulations to the Glasgow Warriors for beating the Bulls in their own backyard in the URC Final just now, 3 tries to 1 as well! Fantastic! 😎
