• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Michu or Bony?

If City had bought Michu off us at his best, he would have scored goals for fun in that team. Bony went there and looked like a fish out of water.
Bony would have scored for fun for Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal etc

Bony was the better centre forward. Michu more effective arriving late in the box.

Always been a tragedy that we didn't see more of them together. One of Laudrup's odder tactical choices.
Totally agree I honestly believed with Michu and Bony together we would have a top chance of success I thought that was the plan playing them both....it did amaze me Luadrup decided not to play them together as often

They started together away at Valencia and both scored in what, for me, was the best combination of Swans performance and location of the Laudrup era and far and away the most enjoyable away trip I've ever done.

I preferred Michu goal celebration.
It was his goal celebration that virtually finished his career, after already having a dodgy ankle he was kicking the hoardings after scoring, loved Bony a proper goalscoring power house, but for goals, flamboyancy and out and out flair Michu is the man for me, produced some memorable arse off the seat moments, much like Trunds used to do, at a different level of course.

I was talking about his hand by his ear, not when he sometimes kicked the hoarding.
