• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

That’s the one, I think. But can you really get that for £6? In this world of daylight robbery and captive audiences, £6 seems vastly underpriced.

I saw one a little while ago with a meat and potato pie inside a bap, then drizzled with gravy. Banging!
I've a poor appetite at the moment but hat little lot looks banging 😂

Basically the lower down the pyramid you go the better the food/value for your money, they are desperate to attract support.

Bottom line is, if you follow a Premier league/Championship side expect to be served up any old slop at a premium price for your hard earned...
In a nutshell.

Except at Bromley…

I remember going to the old Upton pk in the 80s. And fair play, the home support used to throw spuds into the away end. And to make sure we could cut em up properly, they'd insert razor blade just to help.....which was good of em.

For those who want food at/on way to the match, I found a good option today. We were down at B&Q to pick up some things earlier and saw the Stuart's bakery van between Currys and Next.

We had a turkey baguette each, which came with stuffing and cranberry sauce for £6. Pretty good size and lovely tasting, far better value than anything in the ground for sure.
