Half time service

I very rarely use the catering at the stadium and up until 2 years ago i was a ST the East stand my son would often go down and was usually a very long time getting served but i would never go as it was so inefficient and I don’t go to football for food or drink.

However i then moved to the West Stand so i could watch Darrens male pattern baldness (type 3) bald spot spreading better from above him.

I will say that the extra space for people in the West stand area allows a better service, and the queues seen to move quicker i did use the services in the half time against Bristol City as i was freezing and had a hot chocolate to warm up.

However the printer was not working at the terminal i used and made my way to the queue and spoke to very nice lady who was no problem and supplied the drink i had purchased despite not having a order number or ticket.

Which i thought was good customer service to be fair.
Always nice to hear a good news story about the service at the stadium. 🫶🏼

Bollox.

I had a cup of coffee in the stadium yesterday.
It was without doubt the worst cup of coffee I have ever tasted. Utter fucking filth it was.
The coffee in the bags? That Reviva shite.

It's a massive part of the day, many times I've boarded the minibus outside the Eagle at 7am for an away game and cracked open my first can before we reached Caersalem Chappel 😂👍🍻
Have the Eagle owners taken over the Plough at Llangyfelach now?
Popped there a fortnight ago and had a few Peroni's and at £6.20 a pint, I won't be returning anytime soon!

I believe they have, the food is great by all accounts, same as the Eagle.
The time is coming soon that socialising in pubs will be a thing of the past because they are constantly putting the price of drinks up, it's all about the food now, eat, clean table, eat, repeat.

We sat out the back, there was a party in the back room and the beer was flowing, they made a few quid that afternoon.

Six quid a pint seems to be the norm nowadays, I remember being nonplussed when it hit the £5 mark 😂
My eldest lived in Horsham for over 3 years and I used to complain about the prices of the ale up there and now we are paying even more than then down here now, god know's what they are now charging up there.
Lovely place mind.

Bristol City away last season and the young lad in front of me was counting literal pennies to pay for his beer and was told it was card only. I offered to buy it for him and the bloke serving behind the bar told me not to worry and gave it to him for free.

Not in my lifetime would that happen at our ground.

I had a free pint at Birmingham last season. The long queues were sharing 1 card reader and it was a taking ages to come back to my queue. The bloke serving just said, ‘don’t worry about it’ and motioned for me to walk away 😁
It’s the small wins…

It certainly is. The beer always tastes better when it is free 😉
