• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Is at a record level. Our very own have nowhere to go, whilst estates are springing up to house immigrants.
Some will shout out 'racist', I couldn't give a fck....its a fact.

Its shocking Saint, it really is.
Yep, yet many continue to support the actions of housing these people who's backgrounds are not checked. Yet one of our own will have to produce everything bar a fckn stool sample just to get on the waiting list.

I'm not aware of estates being built for unchecked migrants so I won't comment on that but I agree that the homelessness situation is absurd. Most of us are only a few bad months away from it.

That literally says they’ll be used for both Ukrainian refugees (so not undocumented “small boat” types) and homeless people.

Cardiff city centre is awful. The amount of people sleeping in doorways on my way from the NCP to the office is unacceptable.

Half of them are sleeping the in the doorways of the empty Debenhams store. I'm sure they open places like that for people to sleep in over in the Netherlands.

These figures are probably the tip of the iceberg. They won’t include those who are moving from sofa to sofa or those under the radar of local authorities.

The Covid era proved that local authorities had the ability to get everyone sheltered in a short space of time, that reversed quite quickly once things settled down. There’s much to do here and we’re not getting our priorities right.

We walked up Oxford St Saturday night and there was a chap sleeping in a sleeping bag near McDonalds 2024 and this is happening, some want to sleep rough supposedly though.
