• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

quite.
if they were doubling up on Grimes he should have been finding space. yet he spent the whole game hiding. even behind the referee at one point

Grimes is having the football equivalent of a mental break. He is a liabilty right now. I Lolled when he faceplanted after giving the ball away. Someone needs to tell him he isnt a quarterback.

So easy, Fulton and Eom waste of

Sadly, we need to start again. This isn’t going to work. The bogus self aggrandising ‘philosophy’ tops out at mid table and with these players a fair bit below.
Sheffield Wednesday just beat Stoke with 10 men . How do you think we would have got on in any game after being reduced to 10 men? They are a bunch of cowards that just roll over to the next team we play, and that starts with LW. You only have to see the difference with Wales , who have the same players, but under a different manager have a different attitude and improved results.

Crux is they are second guessing, just like other seasons that they won't be bottom 3, and won't get top 6. Seen all this too many times.
Coasting through the league without a care seemingly.
They'll pull out a few results if needed.

Today's performance was entirely predictable from the moment you saw the starting line-up

The changes were predictable.

Nobody seems allowed to question how we have Franco as our best midfielder but he doesnt have sufficient fitness to play a ninety minute game or two games in a week

We have a captain who is undroppable no matter how many mistakes and poor games he plays and our reliance on the likes of Cullen, Fulton, Tymon and Cabango in the team tells you all you need to know about the shallowness of the squad

Its hard to know whether the manager is up to it or not but nothing has changed in a year so you have to question it
And I’m sure Franco played full games in the Portuguese league.

Having drinks in Bristol, knew we were going to lose this. Leaving ToxicSwans alone for a bit.

Also lol.

There's a pattern emerging here. We go on a poor run then go 4 undefeated that propels us to the top half. That get's a few on here looking at the possibility of the playoffs. Next 4 or 5 games go by without a win again and down we plummet.
That to me has to be the manager.
He tells you how disappointed he is after a poor performance but his monotone answers don't show it in expressions.
IMO he's no motivator.

V similar to Martin.

We look good for a few games and we think we'll challenge for play offs, then look dog shit for a spell, rinse and repeat
