• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Oh God, I just had a thought. What if we do end up sacking LW before the end of the season...

Coleman: "It was clear after talking to Garry that he knows the Swansea Way as well as anyone and a club legend like him is the best person to connect with the people of Swansea and lead us back to winning ways...."

Ah, but Coleman would need to get Lexy’s approval, so we’re probably safe 🤣

As a player, can't fault Monk.

His block at Wembley was worth a goal in its self.
Also agree with this and it's a shame what happened with the manager situation as he deserves to be talked about more as a player given his record here. He was a stalwart all the way from League 2 to the Championship Playoff final. Never a regular in the PL, but played his fair share of games the first two seasons. Overshadowed by Ash once he arrived, but Monk played a big role in our glory years.

It's a massive shame the way he tarnished his legacy.

The guy was the captain of the club which got promoted to the Premier League. In my eyes he'll always be the guy that forced Laudrup out of the club and possibly accelerated the demise of the club.
