Oh God, I just had a thought. What if we do end up sacking LW before the end of the season...
Coleman: "It was clear after talking to Garry that he knows the Swansea Way as well as anyone and a club legend like him is the best person to connect with the people of Swansea and lead us back to winning ways...."
Also agree with this and it's a shame what happened with the manager situation as he deserves to be talked about more as a player given his record here. He was a stalwart all the way from League 2 to the Championship Playoff final. Never a regular in the PL, but played his fair share of games the first two seasons. Overshadowed by Ash once he arrived, but Monk played a big role in our glory years. As a player, can't fault Monk.
His block at Wembley was worth a goal in its self.
It's a massive shame the way he tarnished his legacy. Also agree with this and it's a shame what happened with the manager situation as he deserves to be talked about more as a player given his record here. Rodger takes that crown by keeping us in the league quite easily followed by Laudrup with his cup win.Still our most successful Premier League manager.
Monk to Swansea, Williams to Cambridge.Monk and Williams could offer house clearance services now![]()
