• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Wouldn't the best outcome be: Sheehan getting a few points early on, safety seems assured, keeping him till the end of the season, then look for someone to take over for next season.
Its what I would want to see

Sheehan as interim coach while new manager has zero pressure to run the rule over his squad and work together with Montague to establish what he needs and what to ship out

And he's never done well in management. He's consistently lost almost twice as many as he's won.

So, I guess he's a lock for the appointment then? :ROFLMAO:
I'm not qualifying O'Neill as good enough - though I think he'd be an exciting appointment - but losing twice as many as you won isn't a surprise considering he managed Bournemouth and Wolves in the PL.

I think you're quite right to point out the side's he's managed.

That said, he's only managed 100 matches in his career. He's lost over half of them. I would want someone with a bit more of a winning track record, regardless of the level.

He just hasn't yet proven he can win.

No way that happens. We couldn't afford him, nor would he want to come here.
It's quite ludicrous some of the names. At the moment we're a poisonous club on the edge of League One with a very dodgy chairman. A lot of people are naming people as if we're on the edge of the PL top 4, in the Europa League with millions to spend.
Oh. And a dazzling current squad.
Fucking ludicrous half of these posts.

Let people have their hopeless optimism
Its better than utter hopelessness and despair which is where we were like six hours ago

I don't know about despair. I was all fired up for the forum and Yankee Doodle Shithouse Andy has spoilt it all. Glad he's gone but I'm not optimistic about whatevers to come with that American tit.
Anyway, yes, ummmmm what about Eric Ramsay as next manager ? (I just googled that btw, never heard of him, MLS experience, Welsh hackysack International ). Yee ha cowboy.

Gary O'Neil mentioned, thought it would be a good call myself......ex Cardiff though.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jesse Marsch turned up

RM living in Winchester with the lovely Lucy Pinder with a handsome Saints pay off... no way is he coming here

Buckingham is not someone we should be going for, sacked by Oxford ffs who then went on an incredible run of 1 loss in 10 when they got rid, if that’s the peak of our ambitious targets then we should have kept egg head in the job.

We should approach Stephane Le Mignan, current manager of French league 2 club Metz, but I doubt he'd come because he's got them playing fantastic football and they look like they are going to bounce straight back to League 1 at the first attempt.

Is David Wagner within our budget or can I file it under 'wouldn't touch us'?
