• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Started Wednesday in Pakistan and Dubai and a bit under the radar so far. England v Australia now in both teams’n first group game. Good start from England against a fairly depleted Australia without Cummings, Starc and Hazelwood. 128-2 after 18.

Pakistan v India tomorrow which can’t be bad for a Sunday.

Decent start by England...there's me strapped in for a T20 fest not realising it's an ODI thinking Root needs to kick on with his strike rate 😱

351 for 8.. possibly 20 runs short on that pitch. Will have to bowl well to defend that.

Crikey, it comes to something when 350 ain’t enough in a 50 over game. (I still live in 1977 when 180 was a good score).

England can bat, sometimes.

England cannot bowl, usually. I’m a bit fed up of seeing short of a length balls heading over the boundary fence.

The basics of their approach to the fifty over game is wrong.

I will raise you John Player Sunday League games at St .Helens with Glamorgan , 40 overs per side .

Even further back Gillette Cup games , 60 overs for each county , games finishing at past 9pm on occasions .
No floodlights or bad light stopped play was an excuse then .
