• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Think that will be the safety finishing line this season, be surprised now if Luton and Derby reach that and the teams above will be filling that third spot. Oxfords's run in is pretty horrendous and they have stopped scoring and could be the surprise drop. Hull will steer clear , Portsmouth good at home so could be Plymouth or Cardiff for the last spot if Oxford pick up form.

It's not going to be Cardiff, it never is .

Upcoming fixtures

Plymouth vs Derby
Hull vs Luton

Cardiff face Burnley and Sunderland in amongst that

I think Portsmouth and Hull will be fine. Plymouth really need to pick up form again if they've got any chance, cant see it now though tbh, They've got to get 4 points more than Scum, because of the poor GD.

Looks like the bottom 3 to me.
We have beaten them all and drawn at Luton even With Luke at the helm.
So taking that into account they must be worse than us and should go down.

Big game tomorrow with Cardiff and Hull, whoever wins that pushes on for me, a draw is no good for either.

For me, any 3 from Stoke down as it stands.

praying they lose tomorrow but can't see it. If they do I think they'll drop

they always seem to scrape by and avoid it, pray it happens but can't see it happening 🤞

Only got out of it last year because Reading got a points deduction.
They're awful but I think they'll avoid the drop again somehow.

They won’t go down. They’ll get a win or two at the death if they need to, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re well clear by then. Plymuff, Derby and Luton are really, really bad.

I agree, there is a lot of pressure on the bottom 3 to hit promotion form in 12 games. Luton and Derby can't score goals, Plymouth's home form has fallen away.

And next season's Championship is going to be a lot stronger with the 3 who are coming down.

They'll only replace the top three that go up this season to swap places again at the end of next season.

Apart from three or four teams the standard of this league isn't great.
