• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Anybody else watch the match on Swans TV today? I have to say, that's the worst coverage I've seen for some time. And it wasn't AOC's commentary (which was fine), or the audio/video sync (which was also fine). It was the poor camera selection and the endless replays from multiple angles, sometimes of totally insignificant pieces of action, and often carrying on when play had re-started and something else had happened in the meantime - so they ended up having to replay the action they'd missed. I guess that's what a "director" does? I'm sure this has nothing to do with Swans TV per se, because the direction is done by whoever's responsible for the coverage of all the EFL matches. Anyway, I enjoyed the game but today's coverage was pants.

As you mentioned its out of their hands (Swans TV) with cut aways etc. It's been really annoying recently. The director of the stream keeps cutting to replays at times when match has restarted. To long endless shots of coaches. Overall improvement on SWANS TV end, other than stream being a little tiny bit pixel, when close up shots. if I was being picky. But yeah, agree on what you said.

Side Note - Swansea did use to do their own cuts and replays etc until last season or 2. Due to budget cuts. Hence why we have no graphics, or another commentator like we used to.

Aye I remember when we used to get Curtis or Wyndham co commentating.
I was always concerned when we played well and scored a great goal that Wyndham would finally have that aneurysm that always seemed just a hairs breadth away
