Strikes me of someone who is conservative with his style of play,

The owners need to look at the empty seats at the stadium and take note playing 5 at the back against opponents such as Derby isn't going to fill those seats for the remainder of this season or next.
I was like many others so bored I was dropping off yesterday. It was bland and negative football. The crowd who by the way turned out, off the back of more positive vibe around the club and the weather etc. Sheehan gave little sneak peak to where we could go. The argument people will say. It got us the result. Do we want a boring team who wins by skin of our teeth or a team that is entertaining and is more creative.

That’s what I would have done
Same here.

Vipnotik has to start every game between now and the end of the season.

The Liam Cullen project is proving a failure. There was a slight up turn in performance when the contract saga dragged on. It's frustrating to see normal service has resumed with the lad.

If it were me, I'd set my team up to swarm all over them from the start. Score an early goal and watch they crumble.

The way he set the team up yesterday was not to lose.

I want a manager who is going to take risks and go for it.

I know there's a lot of cynical talk about Sheehan nailed on to be here/already decided etc., but I wouldn't dismiss the desire for a new DOF to go out and get 'his guy'.

I could potentially have seen Coleman, if he was still in charge, as being so weary of manager appointments after Duff and Williams and all the drama with Martin, that he'd just rather give it to Sheehan, but new owners, new DOF, new CEO - none of whom have much of an existing connection to Sheehan - I can absolutely see them wanting to bring in their guy rather than promoting an existing coach.

I think I’d rather Sheehan.
Same for me, I know he done well with Forest Green and Luton getting them up, but look where Luton are now that’s down to his management this season, he was commuting from Tamworth to Luton, last thing we need is a manager who isn’t coming to live in the local area, Duff/Williams.

The winning quorum showed the art of the possible when Williams was sidelined for a game.
We played some of the very best stuff we’ve seen in years, the .Com was bouncing.

However the winning quorum has been diluted, almost neutered when it’s chief chorus master moved on.

Sheezy’s name was all over it, at that time. But that ship has sailed so unless Joey can properly step up and grasp the chorus master baton, Sheez is just the backstop, as per.

Some moaning after getting a result in a horrible edgy contest which if went the wrong way we would be in trouble. Get a grip ffs.
Bang on.
We’ve got some proper entitled plastic armchairs nowadays. They so need to get a proper grip.

Totally agree.

The same people complaining about the "style" right now, were the same ones complaining towards the end of Williams when our full backs were pissing off up the other end of the pitch and allowing the other team a free run at goal. It was suicidal, amateur football apparently. These people will never be pleased.

Sheehan has stopped the nonsense. It's not pretty, in fact it reminds me a lot of Cooperball, but it's arrested the slide and got a poor quality squad picking up points.

One more win and it's job done. That's all anyone should care about right now. Anything else is for summer.
