Safety routines on flights before take off.

I don’t recall any meaningful briefing on Izhevsk Air (or Izhavia as they became known), and if there was there was no translation from Russian. The only plane I have been on where the emergency sign said ‘use rope to climb down’ and where the emergency exit looked like it had been used before. We had to stop using them in the end as their lack of licences invalidated our corporate travel insurance.

If the plane started hurtling towards the ground, I wouldn't remember my own fckn name let alone anything else.

I heard that you’re told to put your head between your legs in the event of a plane going down not to help save your life but for dental records to indentify you. 😳

You must remember to blow your whistle and not inflate your life vest until you're outside the aircraft.
Otherwise you'll be in big trouble...

Every time I hear the words “there’s a light and a whistle for attracting attention” I expect them to then say “just in case you’re off to a rave”.

I remember 1 safety message, was told to put my head between my legs.
I shouted " if I could do that, I wouldn't be off to Thailand!"
