Scored again tonight. Has shown decent form in the last few games. Shooting and defensive stats are decent, passing ones less so. If nothing else perhaps his 7 goals will attract some interest.

Im not sure how much we signed him for. Don't think it's as much as many believe so imagine we might just recoup and not really gain much. Quicker we get rid of Yates and Co the quicker we can look for alternatives. I wanted to see more of Mykola but 1 year left on contract he's going either way.

Get the impression that Kukha would stay around if we didn't have Vipotnik. Seems unlikely that we'll keep two poachers with limited all-round game in the squad, even if they're both young-ish

I think we paid around £2m for him. If he's out of contract next summer, selling him this summer for anything upwards of £650k would give us a profit

More financially savvy people can probably give a better answer than me, but for PSR purposes, the cost of a player is spread over the length of his contract. If Swansea were to sign a player this summer for £3m on a three year contract, this wouldn’t be a £3m spend for 2025/26, but rather £1m per year for the next three years. This is part of the reason why Chelsea were giving their expensive young signings 7 and 8 year contracts.

So if we signed Kukharevych for £2m and gave him a three year contract, his ‘cost’ to the club for PSR is £666,666 per year. If we sold him for more than that this summer, we’d make a profit on him for accounting purposes this year, if not an actual profit on him.
