Summer Transfer Window

Apparently he’s just started following Trunds online.

Peterborough chairman thinks they’ll get millions in compo when he leaves? I don’t think he’ll come here over QPR anyway, he’s a London boy.
He'll be a league 1 boy then

Certainly need a solid player in the base of midfield with all that young enthusiasm across the midfield 4 but boy does that look exciting.

For me, I can see Vipotnik really kicking on this coming season and wouldn't be to concerned with him and Yates fighting it out for that no 9 spot.
Agreed. Yates more than good enough as back up

Derby about to sign another striker, from the MLS so I guess this all but rules Yates out joining them after they signed Morris as well earlier in the week.

Thing is if he is going to demand millions in compo then most clubs will just wait for his 24th birthday in August and sign him for free as he is only entitled to compo if signed below the age of 24.

Either that or he will go to a foreign club who could use that money to offer him more lucrative signing on terms

Contract runs out end of June, come and "train with us to maintain fitness" during preseason, then as soon as his birthday passes he gets an even juicier signing on fee/wages and the Posh get nothing

Of course we have no idea if this Agyemang will be a decent player for them, same with the players we have signed.

Strikers from the MLS have a mixed record over here. Dike had a great loan spell with Barnsley, but has been a disaster with WBA (severe injuries have played a part) and Haji Wright was an expensive signing for Coventry who's been good but not worth the money.
Absolutely.

This is something that I am cautious about and don't want to get carried away.

Wales-Very young and a big step up.
Burgess-No real concern with his experience and age.
Innoussa- Young, a new country and arguably a step up.
Widell-As above
Santos-Step up

Its not a given but the potential is there which is exciting but a bit of reality to the situation that it's not a given is something I'm quite cautious about.

That's not doable.

Why is Marko Staminic named in that lineup? He is another Forest player on a long contract.
Credit to another poster on here. The club are working a loan to buy deal for him. But then they are working on deals with lots of different players so who knows.

Forest signed him last summer. Loaned him out to Olympiacos. Seems they want another loan out for him this year. Who knows of the players being worked on which will say yes and of those that say yes which one we sign. So who knows.

I just think looking at his stats and his highlights reel he would be an excellent addition as one of the 2 midfielders we need. Would suit that 4-1-4-1. 6ft 2 so gets around the DM area fast and get tackles in. Height advantage on set pieces at both end of the pitch.

Then the other MF we need is an LOB type for 4-3-3 and other set ups

Didn't think there was anything concrete here, just someone heard something. Doesn't mean the club aren't looking at him though

Also doesn't look like Poku is happening.
Birmingham are re-signing Demari Gray so I'd say that puts them out of the running, but talk online is he's already having a medical at QPR.

Interesting to see if we will push on getting another winger or whether this was an opportunist signing as he is out of contract. We seem to be getting the most out of the free/running out of contract market at the moment.

That's not doable.
With when his birthday is it is since he is out of contract next week.

If he signed for another club before he turns 24 then compensation is due
If he signed for another club after he turns 24 then the Posh are due nothing

Of course any club that really wants him would never risk waiting 6 weeks for his birthday in case someone else gazzumps them. But the chairman demanding millions in compo for a league one player when it will go to a tribunal in any case is unrealistic to say the least
