• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Well, that went well
There's not a lot that can be said Phil, nevermind a tier 2 Team we're bordering on being a 3rd tier rugby nation, yes you can put some blame on the heat, but not the desire and effort, we were slow at the breakdown and predictable and our scrum and lineouts much the same, we are a physically small team as well, we got overpowered by Japan more than once and yet we had a bigger and a player with loads of international experience in Wainwright on the bench WTF didn't he start he would have backed up Faletau who was our only standout today, defence was disorganised and disjointed. Hardy had a really poor game, he's far better than that.

The worlds best coach couldn't get a whiff out of this squad its that poor and with very little coming through.

And Breathe

I remember the days when I couldn't miss a Wales Int match.
Sadly I didn't even realise they were playing today.

Wales severely weakened by Lions call ups.

Oh hang on a minute.
Williams would have played better than Hardy and Morgan would have made an impact, Wales can't afford to be without those two with the squad being so poor.
But no player would turn a Lions call up down and rightly so.

My lad woke just before 6 so I got up with Mrs to give her a hand we got a telly in his room so that went on got him sorted then put main telly on, bigger screen

Anyway, no record book for Wales - who knows what the future holds. Two teams in the Wales England league isn't good for the regions.

It’s better than two teams in that Shite URC…

Three somewhere would be better but realistically there’s only money for two, and probably not the support for even that. Make no mistake, Welsh rugby is on life support.

It is hard to disagree looking at the recent past. There has been a decline in the number of players coming through so that means the proportion of mediocrity at elite level will increase. Ireland may well be the model to look at

Does Liechtenstein have a national rugby team? Perhaps we can tour there next.

Plenty to build on Blair Murray, Ben Thomas, Dan Edwards, Josh McCloud, Jac Morgs and Tomas Wills to comeback and a few others with enormous potential, Arron Wainwright who made a massive difference today, why he didn't start last week is a mystery to me and my butties size desire and his pure will seals it for me, Faletau is the No8 without doubt but Wainwright is more than a competent No6. and like I said above he's got size which this Welsh side is lacking.
