S25/26 | Swansea 1 Plymouth 1 (The Swans win 5-3 on Penalties) | Att: 7,279 | 2nd Round EFL Carabao Cup | 7.45pm, 26/08/2025

I believe that Parker should get a run of games in the starting eleven ahead of Key. He did ok before being moved up the field and his speed is an asset.

Got out of jail there.

Job done.

Enough said by others about that performance in the second half.

Really hope though that the players signed from overseas start to get up to the pace and physicality of the game over here as soon as possible. The signings standing out at the moment are those with experience of the UK game.

I do think though that the criticism on here of Parker is way over the top, he had a very good first half and made some lovely breaks in the second. Just lacked composure when it mattered most. I see signs of a good player.

Fingers crossed for that striker. By God we need it.
Agreed nothing wrong with being critical and there were aspects of his game to criticise but some of the toxic comments were out of order

It’s harder to coach a player to get into good positions and situations than to coach composure

The composure will come with experience. He’s only 19.

He has a lovely turn of pace. I hadn’t realised until tonight how quick he is.

I think he will become a very good player for us at right back.

Some truly embarrassing comments on here tonight which just goes to show how far some will go to pursue their personal agendas against certain players….you’ve made fools of yourselves.
I saw nothing today to convince me that Fulton should play for the club

I will admit to being a critic of Fisher, he made two saves in the second half (one right at him and one you would expect any keeper to make) and he saved a penalty in the shootout

I still think he was at fault for the goal we conceded and if that didn’t happen it likely would have been a different second half

He wasn’t as calamitous as he was at times under his lowest point with us but it would take a lot for him to shake that stigma

I agree he can be rapid but we won’t see the merits of that for us unless we play quicker ball which was in pitifully small supply tonight

The saving grace is we didn't have our best 11 out there at any point. I can see 5 starting tonight not starting Saturday.

Galbraith and Stemenic will be key for us moving forward including Vigs

Sheff Wed will be buzzing beating Leeds on pens

Sheff Wed beat Leeds tonight too, don't think they'll be a push over Saturday, even with their off field woes

Fulton has been consistently bad for several seasons, Fisher was never given a real chance by many fans, I’m not saying he’s Gordon Banks but he’s a capable keeper in my opinion.
Benda was the fans favourite but he made as many mistakes as Fisher did but they got overlooked.

I think one of the main features of the game was the number of times our players took the wrong option when presented with a goal chance.
Vip when he intercepted the back pass but took an extra touch after rounding the keeper instead of hitting it with his left.
Yalcoure trying to head that long cross to the far post at shin height instead of volleying it.
Parker taking an extra touch and ruining the angle when running onto the ball in the area instead of hitting it.
Cullen being a c*nt for putting a simple chance to win it over the bar from twelve yards out with time and space.
