Old Firm games are usually an entertaining watch anyway just because of the atmosphere.

Brendan is under a bit of pressure but he is at least a capable manager. Russy is a bullshitting fraud. An early goal for Celtic may result in the unusual sight of an armed police ring around the Rangers technical area.

We know exactly how this goes…he’ll somehow give Celtic a thumping, get more time, have another awful 5 games, rinse and repeat.

I’ve said it many times before, even when he was with us, but he will continue to play this suicide football supported by PowerPoint stats until a big club thinks ‘ooo that’ll work with our expensive team’. You could argue it’s already happened with Southampton and maybe Rangers, but it wouldn’t have surprised me if he’d spawned his way to a Villa or someone like that. Thankfully, for football, it looks as if he’s already hit his ceiling.

At some point it's got to end, once it's become clear that he ruins every defense he manages and that he's just a self promoter. But as you said I fear he'll have at least one more high profile club to ruin in the UK....and after that there is always America. He could do well (for himself at least) over there regardless of results, as yank media doesn't care how inept or insane you are as long as you got the pearly whites and good hair.

I can see it now…he takes a break for a bit, ends up getting the Man City assistant manager job, Pep leaves halfway through a season…Russy takes charge in the interim, his tactics work with a £1 billion squad, gets offered the job full time…wins back-to-back PL titles…his head absolutely explodes (“I said it all along lads, you’ve got to trust the process”), the few people who still support him here will come out with the ‘I told you so’ posts…

You watch.

I hope he keeps getting gigs. He’s extraordinarily entertaining as long as he’s nowhere near your club.
