It's not so much the falling out with players is the problem, more his need to go public with it pretty much every time. He appears to have not heard of the concept of keeping things in-house.Its the speed and consistency with which he falls out with his players that has always astounded me. At least two at Rangers already.
I never fully bought into the idea that his problems with Pato, Obafemi and Whittaker were entirely down to the players. Partially maybe. Perhaps mostly in Oba's case, but when it happens as often as it does with him then you have to consider the possibility that the one consistent factor is him.
I'd wager it's because he thinks by doing it he can deflect attention from himself onto players
