Vipotnik - Sell Or Keep?

I'm not a fan of replacing Vip with Idah. I'd rather go with what we have got and keep the money we have to reassess in Jan or next summer.

He had a good run of games and minutes under Sheehan when he was appointed last season, but he was certainly feeding off scraps at the time.

I was firmly in the 'give him a run of games' camp at the start of the season, wobbled a little after the Crawley game, now I'm firmly back on board with him.

The argument now is, will the club have backlash if he goes? A lot of good transfers and alot more around the club. But if they mess this up then they will have a lot of angry fans who will argue that they are bringing in 1 player to replace another. If we are just adding a stiker, then great. But how does Cullen and Wales come into this? I would be getting Wales in the Under 21. Give him game time.

What happens if we pull out of other deals and next week he becomes as disinterested as he has been for most of his stay with us? It could be the transfer window that’s causing the difference.

I think everyone agrees we need another striker. And not actually replacement for VP. Maybe VP is playing to get move out of the club? If so what does that say about him? If not and it's him stepping up, then brilliant. I am not holding my breath, I do think VP will go.

I’ve no idea whether he will or not, but we need two (neither of whom can be Cullen or Wales - Wales is an extra and Cullen is more a utility player).

If we keep Vipotnik and sign a forward, or sell him and sign 2 forwards, then I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Wales go out on loan rather than be 4th choice here.

Everyone calm doon, Celtic have a few irons in the fire, the reason that Idah has been recalled is because Anderlecht are haggerlinng over the way the payments of Kasper Dolberg's transfer are to be structured, common practice. Celtic have recalled Idah this weekend for cover, there is no certainly that he will be used for the bench tomorrow, it depends on how certain players report in the morning. Had this off a decent source. Make of this what you will, I couldn't give a fuck either way

Most top half teams in this league have at least 4 striker options.. I think Wrexham have 6 .We need at least 2 recognised strikers who can play at this level.

Seriously don’t get it. There’s a bloody good player in Vilp. We’d be mad to sell him. Younger than Cullen FFS !
