Yeah, but it’s not about his performance even. It’s about his supposed wage, which will be made up, and sites are confirming it and tweeting about it. And slagging him off as well as a result of that made up wage.

Wasn’t Andre Ayew on circa £80,000 pw when he nearly carried us to the Premier League?

I don’t really see how, at even half of that, this could be true for someone who hasn’t truly established himself as the real deal yet.

However, if he does establish himself as anywhere near to the quality that Ayew was for us in the Championship, then the outlay whatever amount that is, would have been well worth it.

He was clumsy at Norwich in this division but I was surprised at his tally in Scotland. But then again, he would be playing against league 1 defenders most weeks.

Sadly, I've seen nothing yet to dispel my thoughts so far (in an admittedly limited amount of time) he looks lazy, incapable of heading the ball and likes to drift wide too much.

If he was available and we were interested this should been loan and then see where it goes. We'll see but 6mill and decent wages seems pretty mad.

It's clearly not £6M. It could possibly become as much as £6M if he scores the goals to propel us into the Premier league and then it would be a bargain.

You're right, I'm a bit disappointed he has not in to double figures for goals, after all he's played all of 120 odd minutes.

I got my concerns about Idah and it's fair to say that it's early to make such judgements.
What I have seen this far doesn't encourage me although I will say that he doesn't look fit and maybe carrying a little bit of weight.

This is one view that I hope I get totally wrong.
