• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No Widdell again
First thing I noticed

When we need an attacking spark in the middle of the pitch he is the only one that looks like he can provide it
Malcouye is a lot of things but not an attacking creative midfielder
Fulton most definitely does not fit that description either

Benson needs to offer more than he did on Saturday, while he offered promise against Forest I thought he looked slow and I don't think he managed to beat his man a single time last weekend

I thought Ronald was sub par on Saturday so not surprised he loses out to Benson. Let's hope the latter can take his chance.
The absence of Widdell on the bench is puzzling, I'd have him ahead of Fulton all day long, but I have to say he's been a disappointment so far. I don't hold him in as high a regard as some on here, he reminds me of a misfiring engine. But there must be a player in there somewhere, Swedish international and all that, the question is, can Sheehan find him?

Unless we have injuries, it seems like we might not ever see if Widell is good or not. Has not pulled up any trees so far, but thought he would get more of a chance.

Hopefully Benson can create something from nothing tonight if we toil at all.

1-3, this is when we start the turnaround.

When he went to right back v Watford I think he looked phenomenal and still offered in the centre midfield position… it really gave us that overload.
Ah fair enough. I couldn’t be at that game so didn’t see it. I think I’m still traumatised from LW playing Key as an inverted full back so the idea of a CM at RB stresses me out 😂

Very strange.

We have Key who can cover LB,Casey who can cover RB and CB plus the option of Galbraith at RB.

I would be putting Widell on the bench ahead of Samuel Smith.
Not strange at all, unless you’re looking for conspiracies
