• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What is it about that form chart that scares you? Honest question!
I watched the Liverpool game, and Liverpool were lucky to win, Middlesbrough just won and are top of the league, Sheffield Inited are in a false position, and will climb the table, Derby are a difficult team to beat, who've spent quite a lot of dough, but performances are not matching their spend, plus we tend to be rubbish at Southampton historically.. a point wouldn't be a disaster

They have won 1 of their last 6 matches, and are below us in the early table. There should be nothing to fear going there. Yes it's a tough game , but they are not a star studded ex premier league side.

You know that’s not a positive. You’ve watched this film before.

We haven’t taken a point against teams expecting to be top 6 finishers apart from the anomaly which are the Blades. Boro, Birmingham and Leicester all defeats so we need to start picking up points against the more fancied sides if we are to progress from last season.

Does anyone know if they keep the gates open after the kick off. Broke down on the M3. Been towed to a garage but won’t get to the ground until around 1

I would think there will be a late gate or turnstile left open for late comers. Most grounds I have ever been to have some sort of system for late comers. Often been late getting to an away ground because of transport issues. Sometimes it was a case of knocking on the exit gate. I would think you will be fine. In my humble opinion.
