• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Sheehan boxed us in with the run at the tail end of last season…sentiment is going to cost us, should be doing much better with the resources he has available.

Very depressing. We should be two or three down, and I can't see Saints continuing to miss sitters like this. We created zilch, not one real chance and look totally clueless going forward.
My confidence in Sheehan is ebbing fast. He's got to give this team shape, motivation, confidence, and if he can't, well the end is inevitable.
I like Key, but his confidence is shot, their Brazilian winger has got him on toast, and it's inevitable that's where their goal will come from.
Sheezy needs to be bold now. Two subs straight away please. Or at least Yalcoule for Franco.

I think we all agree that we wasn't going to go to Southampton and roll them over but Sheehan has to get a tune out of this team. I'm in support of Sheehan and won't obwr react over today, but if we want to compete and get into the top 6, then you got to at least show something more than what we have. Yalcouye on, Key Off.

This is a pathetic performance. There is no will to win the ball just keep dropping off.
No out ball no teamwork.
We should be seeing some steady improvement by now. In fact (imo) we are steadily getting worse
Simple passes from so called professional footballers going astray.
We don’t follow runners
I could go on but reality we are incapable of doing the basics of football
That team, playing like that, without enormous fortune, is a relegated team. That cannot go on. I said Sheehan should have until January. I stick by that but not if this keeps getting served up. We’ve created nothing and hardly tried to create anything. We have passengers on the pitch that need substitutes and the manager has to…yes…sort it out. The balance is wrong, the attitude is wrong, the gameplan is wrong and the pace of play is wrong. Other than that we’re ok. The goalie’s fine.

It's a bit like Blackburn, maybe Cullen and Idah want a start.. we might nick it

I can hear the tea cups flying in the Swans changing room from Canada.
Biggest issue is tempo - particularly when we cross midfield- FFS it cant be any worse - come on you Jacks!

No, he got results when nobody else could, that's why he got the gig. I would like to see an upturn in results and performance if I'm being honest, but I'm not going to piss my pants just yet.👍
